step up program

last week while the year 8 went to camp we had a year 7 step up program on Thursday when I came back to school I went to Mrs Moala room which was murder mystery the year 8 had to help the year 7 for hints, it was really hard after that, we did another one and it was really loud but we got 800 points at the end.

Once we finished Mrs Moala murder mystery we went to the next rotation, which was Whaea Kelly in her class we learnt how to draw we had to draw on a piece of paper any shape and cut it out, after that we had to think of something I said "be positive" then we  had to  color it in for detail I did rainbow. then we  had 5 more minutes so I was talking with my friends.

today we went into the street and we got to hear about the year 7 and 8 leadership or step up, the year 7 got to talk first  here are what the year 7:

• they came out of there confront zone
• that learnt how to be a good leader
• they helped each other out
• they were shy before but they became confident after
• the team worked together

then it was the year 8  they said:

• they became more loud
• they worked together as a team
• they encourage each other to have turns 
• they never left each other out
• they are confident when they went to camp

Whare Tapa Wha

Trip To the Museum

On Friday the 1st of November we went to the museum. the year  7&8 went to the museum, KPMG they wanted to do this  because  they  wanted to meet us, the only teammate that was here was Rozaidah, so we took her bag, we all went on the bus and all i  heard was "blah blah blah" once  we  got off we had to go in front of the museum and the KPMG people were already there we  had to sit there for 5 mins  and talk about safety stuff while we were  siting down, once  after that we got our Kpmg person but we  didn't get one, instead we had Mrs Tapuke, we didn't have that much  time because  we had  to pack  the bags away, so we  checked it out on the first level,  we then had a quick snack which was a cupcake we then went on the next level  it was  so  cool I like the  place with all  the names on the so we had to be respectful we then  had much more time  and went around It  was finally lunch time we  had a 10 minute play. we then had to go in  our home lines to do the roll, we  then  went to the winter garden  and  it smelt so bad and was so hot inside but we saw a  pink pineapple and fish it  was  so fun I hope we go back sometime

Review

Task description :For this task we had to try and solve these question for a review to help us for our test.We had a mix of different word problems that we had to solve and write down the answer and we had to write down what was the answer and how we solve the question.We had some measurement questions and some money questions that we had to solve.  it  was really hard  and I need some help  so  I asked Mrs Moala to help  me.

Name Project

This is my name we had to do a name project it took me 4 weeks to do this because it was very hard for me I got help from lao lao I had to check the perimeter and the area it took a while to do because I had to color it then do it.

Healing Honey

We had to talk about healing honey I had to do 4 subheading slide they were called What is Manuka honey, Inventing a honey bandage, Ora honey and Rongoa. It took me two days to do. this then the last side I had to do a poster of Manuka honey. I said Why Manuka honey is good for you. I hope you like it.

Persuasion Map

Today we did a Pesuasion Map our title was more time for morning tea here is my introduction then my main reasons, facts or examples and the conclusion It was so cool because I love writing so we had to read, write and think and that what I did this is my Persuasion Map.

Measuring Triangle

WALT: Measure the angles of a triangle We had to do 6 slides they were really hard to do so I ask the teachers and she helped me all the way they we did a slide that all 4 of the corners have to equal 360 then the next one all three sides it has to equal 180 it has really hard to do.
