this is our stage one from last term, it was so hard and we all did it, it was finished this term which is term 4 we had to do 10 of them it was so hard but I really liked doing it.
Hi Punaiuru, Your have raised a lot of really interesting questions in your learning, like asking about how big animals get and how fast they grow. Because cells of different animals are not very different in size, but the animals can be hugely different (such as a mouse or a blue whale) the main difference is how many times the cells in the animal divide to make more cells. I was amazed at a museum where I saw a full-sized Tyrannosaurus rex skeleton more than 10m high and the museum guide said that it was from just a 25 year old animal. T. rex grew fast!
