The earth is made out of 4 layers of substances. The first layer of earth is called the crust and it is 80 miles. The second layer of earth is called the mantle and its is 1,802 miles straight towards the earth. The next layer is the outer core which is made out lava. The outer core is 300 miles straight towards the earth and the last layer of earth is called the Inner core which is made up out of things such as iron and nickle. The inner core is only 90 miles.
